My daughter asks for this one every single night, and I love that it runs about the length of a bedtime routine so I'm not negotiating for "one more story." The narrator's voice is warm without being syrupy, and the battle scenes have just enough excitement without scaring her.
The story follows Mulan’s disguise and her choice to protect her sick father, which comes through clearly in the narration my kids follow without getting lost. The audio quality is crisp and the runtime feels perfect for a car ride or quiet afternoon.
My daughter asked to listen to this every night this week, and the narration really brings Mulan’s courage to life. The audio quality is clear, and it’s a great length for winding down before bed.
