    Ellie ★★★★★

Bernadette Peters brings that classic New York charm to life so vividly that my six-year-old asks for "the plucky girl story" every single night now. The narration quality is what really sells it—her voice is warm and theatrical without ever feeling overdone, perfect for car rides. Sixty-five years

    Elizabeth ★★★★★

Bernadette Peters' narration is absolutely perfect for Eloise's sassy voice—my daughter giggles every time she re-plays her favorite chapter. The classic stories hold up beautifully after all these years, and it's become our go-to for car rides.

    Jason ★★★★★

My six-year-old is obsessed, and honestly I get it—Bernadette Peters brings Eloise to life so perfectly that we've listened to it every night this week. The classic storybook narration is charming for adults too, which is a bonus I didn't expect.
