    Avery E. ★★★★★

My toddler asks for Gerald almost every night now, and honestly the Hugh Laurie reading is soothing enough that I don't mind hearing it on repeat. The little dance-along moments make it feel less like screen-free time and more like a mini jungle party in the living room.

My daughter asks for Gerald every single car ride now. The jungle dance part gets her bouncing in her seat, and the whole thing runs about the length of a picture book read-aloud, so it never drags.

Hugh Laurie's narration is what sells this one for us, he gives Gerald so much warmth that my daughter giggles every time he tries to dance. It's become the audio we reach for on car rides.
