The four songs at the end are what sold me, my daughter dances around the living room every time Hakuna Matata comes on. Story itself is nicely paced for the drive to preschool, not too long before she loses interest.
My three-year-old asks for this one every single night, and honestly I don't mind hearing it again. The read-along format keeps him quiet for the whole story, which is a small miracle at bedtime.
The narration captures all the drama of Simba’s journey, and my six-year-old stays glued to the speaker for the whole thirty minutes. The audio is crisp and the story pacing is perfect for car rides, which has made this our go-to pick for every drive lately.
