My kid is obsessed with the peach and now I know why — the story captures James's loneliness so well that you feel for him right from the start. The audio quality is crisp and the tale moves at a great pace for bedtime, we finished it in two nights.
The narrator's voice for James is so expressive that my kid actually sat still for the whole first chapter, which never happens. We've listened to it three times this week and the ghastly aunts still make us both laugh out loud every single time.
